This was taken on a camping trip several years ago. It is a close up of the deep wood grain on an old picnic table. And here is one more from a different angle:
This would be nice with a blur applied and used in the background of many types of sites. Just a clean random shot of a non-descript aisle in a hardware store in Anytown USA.
It was just after Halloween and I snagged this photo on the wall of a bathroom. I liked the detail.
This could be grunge or texture, but I’m filing it under texture since it’s just not that dirty. Still, it would make a cool background as a monochrome brush file in Gimp.
More than just a texture, this is real life grunge. Whether you can use this or not in a graphic design, if you are leaning toward a grunge feel you can certainly look and learn from the gritty reality of wear this has to offer.
I took this photo in Shreveport Louisiana on a rainy day in July. The download link for this one is just one size and hosted here FYI. It’s 1200×900 pixels. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
This was taken at a rest stop in Tennessee. Would make a nice background for certain graphic works.
